Wait Until Dark involves a sinister con man and two ex-convicts who are about to meet their match. They have traced the location of a mysterious doll (with several grams of heroin sewn inside), which they are much interested in, to the Greenwich Village apartment of Sam Hendrix and his blind wife, Susy. The con man and his ex-convicts, through a cleverly constructed deception, convince Susy that the police have implicated Sam in the woman’s murder, and the doll, which she believes is the key to his innocence, is evidence. She refuses to reveal its location when she figures out she is the victim of a bizarre charade. Susy knows the only way to play fair is by her rules, so when darkness falls she turns off all the lights leaving both of them to maneuver in the dark until the game ends.

The talented cast includes Dean Creighton as Harry Roat Jr. & Sr., Ben Ortega as Mike Talman, Christopher Zuniga as Sgt. Carlino, Jennifer Hughes as Susy Hendrix, Dustin Battaion as Sam Hendrix, Emma Thvedt as Gloria, Woody Peifer as Policeman #1, and Kevin Adkins as Policeman #2.

WAIT UNTIL DARK will be performed at the TVRT Studio Theatre, 1048 Serpentine Lane, Suite 309, Pleasanton, CA 94566, 8pm Fridays/Saturdays and 2pm Sundays Sep 18 - Oct 11, 2009 (12 performances over 4 weekends).

Tickets are $25 for adults (18-60), $22 for seniors (60+), $20 for juniors (under 18), and $19 each for groups purchasing 20 or more tickets.
